Canadian Centre for Men and Families Ottawa - Grand Opening

A great turnout for the grand opening of the Canadian Centre for Men and Families - Ottawa on Saturday. And a very nice piece in the Ottawa Citizen.

So thanks to everyone who came to the event, and to everyone who helped make it possible from donors to volunteers to staff. And if you know anyone in the Ottawa area who needs the services the CCMF-O is putting in place, from crisis counselling to support groups to legal issues to advice on fathering after divorce (or just in general) please refer them to the centre.

An invitation if you're in Ottawa

Next Saturday, Sept. 9, at 1:00, the Canadian Centre for Men and Families - Ottawa is having its Grand Opening. It's "Ottawa’s first health and social service hub uniquely dedicated to the unmet needs of boys, men, fathers and their families" and the event is at the centre, at 292 Montreal Road, Suite 302.

Whether or not you can make the Grand Opening, the Centre needs your support. I do hope to see you there.

Robson on Canadaland

Jesse Brown of Canadaland just posted an interview with me about The Rebel, Charlottesville and the state of public debate more generally. He and I certainly don't see eye to eye on a lot of things so I appreciate the opportunity to have a civil discussion about our disagreements instead of the sort of shouting match that too often erupts nowadays.
